Full-service global provider of integrated healthcare communications, specializing in new technology, marketing development, product launch, and all forms of marketing communications engagement.
The SVP, DCS is responsible for managing financial accounts, multiple clients and brands within the agency as the team leader. The DCS is focused on business development opportunities through organic growth and new potential clients. The DCS is ultimately responsible for all brands and their financial management and profitability across clients. They should effectively manage and represent the needs of the client to executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Leads financial oversight across 10+ brands for $15M+ book of business
- Identifies training opportunities for 3 to 4 direct reports, which include entire account team (roughly 35 to 40 personnel)
- Provides guidance to direct reports on mentoring opportunities
- Addresses a dynamically changing marketplace (e.g. competition)
- Knows Agency’s strategic process of insights, ideas and execution
- Acts as the brand champion and leads strategic planning, brand evolution, and all aspects of life cycle management
- Understands analytics and translates them into practical business needs
- Meets regularly with partners on business updates
- Develops proactive proposals; responds to new business RFIs and RFPs
- Identifies issues and barriers and alerts internal/external teams
- Leads and manages all aspects of brand strategy and business development to foster success within the business unit or portfolio
- Able to lead client workshops for strategic planning and positioning development
- Monitors industry trends and new approaches/vendor partnerships to advance service offerings for clients
- Reorganizes teams (when needed) to align to business needs
- Communicates business updates to partners
- Leads QBR process
- Identifies upcoming opportunities, threats, issues, and barriers across brands
- Leads entire team in development and execution of campaigns
- Serves as senior management interface between clients and agency
- Executes annual performance reviews; requests annual client performance reviews
Qualifications:
- Last 5 years must have HCP experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 12 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Must have experience leading at least $15M+ in business
- Must have prior experience working with both traditional print & digital execution
- Any cosmetic experience is a plus
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to establish and foster strong relationships – both externally and internally
- Must be an excellent client facing lead with strong strategic capabilities
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PPT, and Keynote – familiarity with MAC environment is desirable
