Company Description

The Company is an executive search firm where their niche is in the medical/pharmaceutical industry.  Our team is energetic, hardworking, collaborative, and (at times) we have a great sense of humor.  We’re continually looking to add multiple dynamic Senior Researchers and Executive Recruiters who can play well in the sand box, and achieve goals while managing a “desk” that is constantly evolving.  Much of what we do on a daily basis is autonomous, but thriving as part of a team (listening, contributing, and learning) is an absolute must.  We foster and embrace a healthy competitive environment where driven people desire to achieve success.  There is a ton of work around the office and the potential to earn great amounts of cash is real; we just need all hands on deck.  The problems we have here are the good ones, and the people we have here, well, they’re pretty awesome too (most of the time)!  Slackers and hermits need not apply. The role will report to the President & Founder of the company.  Our company has roughly 20 clients throughout the US, and is on the verge of our 10th year in business.  Our company has worked with roughly 65 clients since its inception, and the professional offices are located at 220 Ponte Vedra Park Drive Suite 180, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082 (just about 1/4 of a mile south of Butler and A1A).

Position Description

To reiterate: we’re looking to add multiple dynamic individuals.  The Senior Researcher must have the ability to understand and conduct research in the identification of qualified candidates for executive searches in our particular niche (which we will train you on), but realize your training is always ongoing, and you must have the inquisitive nature to learn both on your own and in a team setting.  The Senior Researcher must be able to follow our existing Linkedin and email marketing techniques whereas your written communication skills need to be excellent.  Please note that we have numerous email and written scripts that can be utilized over and over, but we always welcome fresh ideas and ways that enhance our ability to perform as a unit.  Additionally, if the Executive Recruiter has the ability to pick up the phone to set appointments for these qualified candidates with either the President or another VP in the office, that is viewed as a very, very strong plus.  After the President gives you direction, much of what you’ll do on a daily basis is autonomous; however, thriving as part of a team (listening, contributing, and learning) and being a healthy competitor is an absolute must.

The Senior Researchers must have the desire to succeed in partnering with President and VP Recruiters, when identifying candidates across numerous searches.  Senior Researchers must be extremely proficient in LinkedIn or Boolean searches (and other web based searches) and enter specific data Company is looking for (which you will be trained in).  The Senior Researcher must have had previous research experience and be a self-starter, independent, aggressive, professional, have a strong vocabulary, have a desire to grow with our Company, and lastly the Senior Researcher must be able to fit in culturally with the President & Founder and team members.  The Senior Researcher will be responsible for the identification and introduction of current or new profiles of candidates whom are qualified for our existing executive searches.  Those candidates whom are hopefully hired on a full time basis by our client(s).  First year Senior Researcher should earn total compensation of $35k to $45k.  In year 2 there is a real opportunity for $50k+, and it can grow from there in the following years, but that’s very dependent on how you (the Senior Researcher) performs.  There is room for advancement in our organization as well if that is a path you desire and warrant based on your work ethic and success.  If you desire to go down the path of being an Executive Recruiter whereas you would handle and interview your own candidate roster, we will let you to continue to hunt down those prospects and then you will be known as an Executive Recruiter.  If you then desire to go down the path of being a Full Desk Recruiter whereas you would handle your own candidate and client roster, we will let you continue to hunt down those prospects and then you will be known as a Full Desk Recruiter e.g. whereas you are responsible for landing the paying clients and overseeing their needs on a daily basis in collaboration with our team.  Any Senior Researcher and Executive Recruiter must have the ability to manage multiple, complex, high-volume projects and simultaneously work with existing VPs and President to manage Company’s client expectations by identifying appropriate candidates, communicating with those candidates, and bringing forth resumes of appropriate candidates for assigned searches.

The Senior Researcher reports to the President, and you will be able to work through The President’s Linkedin profile which offers up roughly 7,000 connection in our particular niche.  The Senior Researcher must add a minimum of 100 new Linkedin connections (in our particular niche) to the President.  Your work starts with the identification of qualified candidates and then setting up the President (and or a VP) with a minimum of 20 candidate interviews per week are expected from the Executive Recruiters.  You will need to maintain a current understanding of all aspects of multiple projects, proactively manage all phases of search projects, and implement and facilitate the processes and procedures necessary to manage search projects.  You must effectively and efficiently demonstrate a clear understanding of research and identification and have a keen ability to communicate effectively and articulately via phone and email (written and verbal).

Senior Researcher

  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple, complex, high-volume projects simultaneously
    Work with existing VPs and President to manage Company’s client expectations by identifying appropriate candidates, communicating with those candidates
  • Report to President & Founder
  • Schedule President (and or VPs) with a minimum of 20  interviews of qualified candidates per week for assigned searches
  • Continue to grow President’s Linkedin profile by 100 new connections (in the Company’s particular niche) each week
  • Maintain current understanding of all aspects of multiple projects; proactively manage all phases of projects
  • Implement and facilitate the processes and procedures necessary to manage projects effectively and efficiently
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of research and identification and high ability to communicate effectively and articulately via both written and verbal forms
  • A strong affinity and experience with social media platforms (for business purposes) are a plus

Candidate Communication

  • Seek, extend, and expand candidate relationships and opportunities within assigned business set forth by Managing Partner
  • Must have an energetic and persuasive personality when conducting phone calls
  • Foster strong relations with team members and candidates
  • Demonstrate and develop an understanding of Company’s niche (after a set period of time) relative to client assignment(s)
  • Communicate with identified candidates in an appropriate, professional, timely manner, and help to manage issues while acting in the best interest of the Company and its client(s)
  • Attend and participate in daily meetings

Core Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of possessing a Bachelor’s degree
  • Any paralegal experience or degree in library science are an excellent background for Senior Researcher, but not a requirement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must hold problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to be able to act independently without detailed direction (after training)
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently
  • Advanced knowledge of the following software programs:  Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet searches via LinkedIn, Boolean Logic, Google, and Dillistone’s FileFinder are a plus
  • No travel is required
